Another school task, this time in sunny Denby. Emma, our trusty publicity team member, has arranged for us to help out at her school, Denby Free. The Groundwork Erewash team has suggested a set of wooden steps to help the little children make it down the playing field. They also have in mind a mini colliseum where the class can hold plays. This ambitous project was put partly on hold due to the railway sleepers not being delivered. However, we did at least start it off by digging the foundations. The steps were completed and we finished them off with a nice shade of green woodstain. All in all a satisfying days work.
