TASK REPORT

Shipley Park

Total Workdays:

13

Work Done For:

Derbyshire County Council

Date:

17/9/2000

WORK REPORT:

The task today was to assist in creating a new post and wire fence along a large field. This field will have cattle on one side and a new tree plantation on the other side.

As there was a good turnout we split into two groups; one group installing a new strainer post and the other group were putting in side struts and intermediate posts.

The park rangers used their new tractor operated post erector so we were not all kept busy, some took advantage of the good weather.

We finished early as the rangers had done as much as they could and wanted to go, so we did not get the wire installed.

PS. We unfortunately broke the mell handle so I will have to make a new one!
