Saturday's task was repair of a path along the reservoir north bank which had become overgrown and uneven. We had to clear vegetation and add more gravel to the path, which involved lots of barrowing and shovelling. The weather was pretty good considering the poor forecast. Sunday's task was back on the south bank where we were repairing handrails along some steep steps. This was less exhausting than Saturday but we were in the shade so it was a bit colder. Some stayed over an extra day so that we could enjoy the delights of the local NT gardens on the bank holiday Monday. |
