WORK REPORT:

(type, quantity, quality, location)

Today was our first day of work on Riddings Park Farm, near Kniveton. Beryl and her husband bought the farm two years ago and are starting to breed rare breeds of farm animal. Another aspect of their plans is to develop the farm for the enjoyment and use of disabled children, very much on the grounds of Home Farm at Shipley, in which the DCV were heavily involved many years ago.

Today we were hedgelaying a reasonably young hedge at the top of the farm. Beryl provided us with a flapjack and tea making facilities.

The weather was also crisp and sunny, and the fire was perfect, making it the perfect ending to the years work.
