WORK REPORT:

(type, quantity, quality, location)

Today's task was to lay a length of semi-mature hedgerow as part of the Shipley Park 'Woodland Week'. The hedgerow was being laid for wildlife value so it was fairly young and of mixed hawthorn and non hedgerow trees (e.g. sycamore).

We took it fairly easy and the day went well with around 15 metres of hedgelaying completed, even including the sycamore. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the trip to the tea shop in the park for a well earned cup of tea and cake at around 4pm.

Even the head ranger was well impressed with our work, not bad considering that we had two first time hedgelayers !
